Premise
A conflict alert is more useful when it arrives with a proposed fix. The agent watches new invitations and existing commitments, applies your travel buffers, and drafts alternatives while leaving the final calendar decision to you.
Setup
- Connect your calendar with read access.
- Define working hours, travel buffers, event priorities, and protected meetings.
- Specify how tentative invitations and cold outreach should be treated.
- Review proposed resolutions before granting any write access.
Boundaries
- Invitations are never accepted or declined automatically.
- Events cannot be deleted or moved without approval.
- The bot cannot create commitments on another person’s calendar.
For each conflict, explain the collision and recommend one resolution: keep and decline, move one event, or send a rescheduling note. When rescheduling makes sense, provide three available alternatives that include my normal travel and preparation buffers.
Each morning, summarize today’s timeline and flag unresolved tentative events. Separate recruiter outreach and unsolicited sales meetings from conflicts involving established commitments.
Do not accept, decline, move, create, or delete events. Draft the change and wait for my decision.
Prompt
Monitor my calendar for overlaps, insufficient travel time, and new invitations that collide with existing commitments.
