Watch a small channel list, summarize only new uploads from transcripts, and remember what already appeared.

Premise

Replace the recommendation feed with a briefing drawn only from creators you chose. A seen ledger prevents yesterday’s videos from returning tomorrow.

Setup

  1. Connect a transcript service supporting channels and uploads.
  2. Choose seven to ten channels and record why each matters.
  3. Create a seen-video ledger and schedule a morning run.

Boundaries

  • Summaries come from transcripts, not titles or thumbnails.
  • Skip previously reported IDs.
  • Do not invent filler on quiet days.

Every morning, use the transcript integration to find uploads from the previous 24 hours. Compare IDs with the persistent seen ledger and process only new items.

For each, provide title, channel, link, three transcript-grounded takeaways, and why it fits my interests. Mark unavailable transcripts instead of guessing.

Deliver one compact digest, then log successfully handled IDs. Never browser-scrape YouTube when the integration fails.
