A Local Marketplace Deal Scout With Strict Buy Rules

Premise

The scout checks local listings faster than a person can, but qualifies each opportunity with recent sold comps and visible condition. You still approve, travel, inspect, and pay.

Setup

1. Use a dedicated marketplace profile and isolated browser session where permitted.
2. Define categories, radius, maximum price, and minimum margin.
3. Connect a calendar for tentative pickup holds.
4. Confirm the marketplace permits automated access and messaging.

Boundaries

• The scout never sends money, commits to a purchase, or bypasses platform rules.
• Listings without exact sold comps or sufficient photos are skipped.

Continue only when the asking price is at least 35% below that median. Inspect listing photos for model identifiers, edge wear, damage, missing parts, and other condition evidence. Skip unclear items.

Present the listing, comps, margin calculation, photo findings, and proposed one-line offer. Send that offer only after I approve it. Do not negotiate repeatedly. If the seller accepts, prepare a calendar hold with address and price for my confirmation.

Never pay, promise payment, commit to buy, fabricate comps, or evade marketplace restrictions. I inspect and complete every transaction.

Scout local listings in my approved categories and radius. For each candidate, find genuine sold prices for the exact model from the prior 30 days and calculate the median.
