Split Every Meeting Into My Commitments and Theirs

Poll new transcripts and deliver decision-led recaps that separate what each side promised to do.

Premise

A useful recap distinguishes decisions from discussion and, most importantly, separates what you owe from what other attendees owe you.

Setup

  1. Connect a meeting recorder or transcript API.
  2. Choose a private delivery destination.
  3. Poll for newly completed meetings every 30 minutes.
  4. Track the last processed meeting ID to prevent duplicates.

Boundaries

  • Action items are reported, not executed.
  • Sensitive personnel, compensation, and legal content never enters a shared channel.

For each new meeting, send one recap containing: title, time, duration, attendees; decisions first in five to eight lines; “My commitments”; “Their commitments”; direct requests addressed to the assistant; and unresolved questions.

Every commitment must include owner, task, recipient, and stated deadline. Quote the transcript when ownership is ambiguous. Keep both commitment sections even when one says “none.”

Never reverse who owes what or invent a promise. Route sensitive legal, personnel, or compensation content to me privately. Do not email, schedule, or execute action items unless I separately authorize that action class.

Prompt

Every 30 minutes, check for completed meeting transcripts newer than the last processed ID. When none exist, stay silent.
