Run a Niche Directory With a Tiny Agent Team

Stage-gated Grok bots: pick a niche, publish factual pages daily, earn traffic first — then chase affiliate and sponsor deals.

Premise

A curated “best of X” site: research one listing per day, publish, get real traffic — then monetize. Tiny roster, one job each, gate every stage.

Setup

  1. Pick a niche you already have taste in (narrow beats broad).
  2. Scaffold a fast static directory (e.g. Astro) wired to GitHub.
  3. Paste the prompt into a lead bot that spins research + publisher agents.
  4. Do not start outreach until traffic is real.

Boundaries

  • No sponsor/affiliate chase before organic traffic proves the directory works.
  • Each agent files a short end-of-day report.
  1. Niche — propose 5 niches I would have real taste in, where “best {X}” could earn affiliate or sponsor money. I pick one.
  2. Site — scaffold a fast static directory on a modern static stack, wire to GitHub, hand me the repo.
  3. Research agent — daily: investigate one brand/product; write a factual Markdown page (what it is, who for, standouts, honest verdict). Pass to publisher.
  4. Publisher — add the page and deploy.
  5. Repeat until traffic is real (thousands of visits/month). Do not start outreach before this.
  6. Deals agent — only then collect referral links and run small personalized outbound for placements/sponsors.

Keep the roster tiny. One job per agent. Five-line EOD report each: shipped, new, blocked.

Prompt

Help me run a curated directory of the best {X} in one niche. Work in stages and wait at each gate:
